About Village Clinic
International Village Clinic (IVC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to improving access to health care in poor villages of Uttar Pradesh, northern India. The clinic provides modern medical diagnostics and treatment in a region where electricity and health services are limited, with particular benefit for young children and pregnant women. Its health programs focus on disease prevention and treatment, including vaccinations, child nutrition, and health education.
IVC also supports practical health initiatives in local communities: recent work has included installing toilets in eight schools, arranging cataract surgeries for 300 people, and providing cornea transplants for 50. Beyond immediate medical needs, the organization’s long-term vision links health with educational opportunity and reliable sources of income, aiming to help residents enjoy better lives. IVC invites individuals to support its work by donating, volunteering their time and skills, or spreading awareness.
The organization reports that 1% of the money it receives is spent on administrative costs
