Villantó Magazin

Sport Fishing Associations of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County is a regional federation supporting angling associations and fishing communities in northeastern Hungary. Based in Nyíregyháza, it provides information and practical services for anglers, member organizations and fisheries staff. Its website helps visitors find locations selling state fishing licences and regional or national area permits, as well as details about member associations and managed waters.

The federation shares fishing regulations, licence and fee information, fish species guidance, seasonal restrictions and practical advice on methods, bait, knots and recipes. It also publishes news, stocking announcements, meeting decisions and a fishing magazine archive. Its activities include organizing competitions and providing information about angler examinations, fishing cards and fisheries-warden training. The organization reports fish stocking in the Tisza River and connected waters, including carp and other species, and offers updates on local fishing conditions. With resources for both recreational anglers and affiliated clubs, the federation serves as an information hub for responsible fishing and the management and enjoyment of the county’s fishing waters.
