Villentupa is a small professional family-care home in the countryside of southern Mäntsälä, Finland. Founded in 2012, it provides care in a family setting for up to four children. The home is located on the grounds of a larger farm, with its own fenced yard, offering a more intimate alternative to larger child-welfare settings.
The home is run by Niina and Kaitsu, whose backgrounds include social services, family therapy, teaching, early childhood education and physical education. Their expertise includes neuropsychiatric support, animal-assisted coaching and approaches such as DDP, NLP and solution-focused work. Care is guided by safety, fairness, transparency and attention to each child’s individual needs. Villentupa also emphasizes cooperation with children’s families and wider support networks.
Everyday life reflects the rural surroundings and includes two dogs and a small chicken coop. Villentupa’s service is professional family care, delivered by a dedicated team in a home-like environment. The organization welcomes inquiries from people seeking more information about its work and setting.
