Vincebuilt

Vincebuilt is a Subaru engine-building business founded by Vince Griffin, who began building engines in 2008 in a small two-bay garage in New Jersey. Today, Vincebuilt serves race teams, automotive shops and individual customers, creating performance-focused engines with an emphasis on reliability, careful workmanship and clean-running results. Its motorsport-grade Subaru engines have been used by privateer teams in American rally and road racing, tested in the World Rally Championship, and built for drag racing applications.

The engines have achieved results including national rally wins, podium finishes, quarter-mile runs in the eight-second range and speeds of 200 mph in the Texas Mile. Vincebuilt works with projects ranging from small-turbo to big-turbo setups and aims to match each build to the customer’s needs. The business also offers custom painting and powdercoating for automotive projects.

Drawing on experience working with shops, machinists, tuners, race teams and drivers, Vincebuilt welcomes both competition builds and engines for reliable everyday transportation
