Vincent Krans

Vincent Krans is a Dutch artist, born in The Hague in 1960, whose practice spans sculpture, painting and graphic art. He creates sculptures in wood, marble and bronze, and also makes paintings, prints and hand-carved frames. His website presents these works alongside a dedicated section for sculptures intended for public spaces, offering visitors an overview of his artistic output and a way to make contact about his work.

Krans describes his approach with a playful quote about trying to say “nonsensical things” through his art, while acknowledging that this is harder than it sounds. The site includes practical information for prospective buyers: listed prices include 9% VAT but exclude shipping, and generally exclude a frame and passe-partout unless otherwise stated. Artwork is carefully packaged for delivery. Visitors can contact Krans by telephone or email for enquiries. Through his varied handmade work and direct presentation, Krans brings together sculptural and graphic forms in an independent artistic practice.
