The St Vincent de Paul Society, known in Australia as Vinnies, is a lay Catholic organisation dedicated to assisting people experiencing poverty and inequality and working towards a more just and compassionate society. Inspired by a mission to serve all people with compassion and respect, it aims to create inclusive environments where everyone is treated with dignity. Across Australia, more than 45,000 members and volunteers support people in need through over 200 services, with local assistance available across every state and territory.
