Vinpaq

Vinpaq is an online resource devoted to the Vintage Compaq Collection, preserving and sharing information about Compaq computers and related devices. Its collection highlights the development of portable computing, with dedicated sections for Compaq portables, laptops and notebooks, and miscellaneous products. The portables section focuses on Compaq’s early “luggable” PCs, designed to compete with IBM computers and, in some cases, offer strong compatibility with IBM software.

The laptop collection spans multiple Compaq series, including Contura and Evo, reflecting the range of models produced over the brand’s history. The site also covers other portable devices, such as iPaq PDAs, tablet PCs like the Concerto, and handhelds. Visitors can explore articles on the blog, view Compaq commercials and other media, and access downloads, including SoftPaqs, manuals, and VirtualPaq resources.

Vinpaq also invites enthusiasts to join its WhatsApp community to discuss Compaq products and seek help with Compaq-related problems. Together, these resources make the site a focused destination for exploring, learning about, and connecting over vintage Compaq technology
