About Vintr.
Vintr. provides an API for the current location of people and places, using human- and machine-readable aliases.
An alias is a portable location identifier, such as apple#vintr, that points to Apple’s current office. Unlike traditional addresses, aliases are not permanently tied to a physical address: when a place moves, its alias stays the sameand automatically points to its new location.
Vintr. combines these identifiers with precise geolocation and machine-readable access data, making locations easier for both people and software to understand and use.
The API is designed for industries where inaccurate or outdated location data has a direct financial cost, including logistics, food and retail delivery, and travel.
Vintr. also provides precise location data in markets where conventional addressing systems are incomplete, unreliable, or outdated.
