Vintus is a brand founded by Michael Quinttus in April 2004 with the intention of curating a portfolio of exceptional, family-owned, estate-based producers of hand-crafted wines. With a background as a senior executive at Kobrand Corporation, where he managed their wine portfolio, Quinttus brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Vintus. At Vintus, they understand the unique ability of wine to enhance the quality of life.
They recognize that wine offers an endless range of aroma, flavor, and texture profiles, depending on vineyard sites, grapes used, climate, and vinification. As wine consumers and professionals increasingly value diversity and new experiences, Vintus strives to match the passion and rigor of their producers with the sophistication and determination necessary to make a significant impact in the fine wine industry. With a commitment to assembling an extraordinary range of wines of place produced by visionary leaders, Vintus aims to showcase exceptional wines that can stand out in the market.
They work closely with a team of young, dynamic, and highly motivated professionals in sales, marketing, and operations, who share their vision and commitment to excellence and service. Vintus's portfolio of wines is sold through a carefully selected network of distributors across all 50 states and the Caribbean. These distributors have been chosen for their sophisticated wine knowledge, similar philosophical foundations, strong relationships with the finest wine shops and restaurants, and their dedication to Vintus's wines.
As a recognized leader in the industry, Vintus has been awarded as the Wine Enthusiast Importer of the Year in 2017 and the Wine & Spirits Magazine Importer of the Year from 2015 to 2019.
