Virtain Ratsastajat ry is a riding club serving Virrat and nearby communities in Finland. Founded in 1986, it is an active member club of the Finnish Equestrian Federation (SRL). The club aims to encourage interest in equestrian sport and horse-related activities while giving members opportunities to enjoy time together through riding, exercise, trips and other social activities.
Working with local riding stables, including Mallatin Ratsutila, Katrin Tall, Marin Tall and Tinden Tall, Virtain Ratsastajat offers a welcoming community for everyone from recreational riders to competitive equestrians. It organizes training competitions, club competitions and other events throughout the year. Recent and scheduled activities include show jumping and dressage competitions, as well as a driving clinic.
Members compete at a range of levels, from club events to international competition, and take part in regional and SRL training programmes. The club also shares competition information, start lists, results, ranking updates and news through its website, with further current updates available on its official Facebook page.
