VirtualVillage is a digital innovation platform from StartupItalia that brings together startups, small and medium-sized businesses, investors, enablers, and talent. Designed as more than a directory, it provides an online hub for discovery, networking, collaboration, and opportunities across Italy’s innovation ecosystem. Members can create a company profile, find potential business partners, connect with startups and investors, and take part in events focused on open innovation, skills exchange, and networking.

The platform includes the Startup District for discovering and collaborating with innovative startups, the Investor Lounge for meeting venture capital firms and business angels, and the PMI Hub for connecting with innovative Italian SMEs. Members can also explore grants and calls shared with the community, partner promotions, and OpenTalk showcase articles that introduce their businesses to innovation leaders. VirtualVillage hosts community initiatives such as the Investor Startup PMI Community Award, giving early-stage startups the opportunity to collect votes and compete for a presentation slot on the main stage at SIOS Winter in Milan. Creating a profile is free.
