Virtualmin, founded in 2005 by Jamie Cameron and Joe Cooper, specializes in virtual host administration products derived from Webmin, the leading web-based UNIX and Linux system administration tool, boasting over 3 million downloads annually. With two decades of experience in open source development, the team has created solutions to real systems management challenges, writing over half a million lines of code along the way. Virtualmin encompasses not only the original Webmin but also Usermin, and has contributed significantly to open source literature, including books by Cameron and Cooper on Linux system management.

Today, Virtualmin serves more than a thousand hosting providers worldwide, with notable users including RackSpace.com and the University of Texas. In addition to its core products, Virtualmin has expanded to include Cloudmin, which facilitates cloud computing services management. With a small team dedicated to innovation in hosting and cloud computing management, Virtualmin continues to address complex problems in the tech landscape effectively.
