About Vishandel de Jager
Vishandel de Jager is an artisanal fish shop that has been serving the community since 1956. We pride ourselves on offering fresh, sustainable, and high-quality seafood. As an honest and responsible fishmonger, we prioritize knowing the origin of all our products and whether they have been responsibly caught or farmed.
Our story began when the De Jager brothers, Jan and Cor, founded the shop in 1946. Initially, they sold fish door-to-door using a bicycle. Today, the business is in the hands of Nico de Jager, Cor's youngest son.
Located in Julianastraat, Wateringen, our shop offers a wide range of seafood options. In addition to fresh and fried fish, we also sell smoked fish, ready-made products, and the famous Dutch herring. Come visit us to enjoy a variety of delicious seafood options.
