Visions of Creation is the custom jewelry practice of designer Roberto Vengoechea, based in Black Mountain, North Carolina. After 25 years, Roberto and June closed their Cherry Street gallery in December 2022 and retired from operating a retail gallery. Roberto continues to design and create commissioned jewelry for both new and returning customers, as well as distinctive one-of-a-kind pieces offered through select galleries in North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

The practice focuses on personal, memorable, and timeless jewelry, including women’s designs, pendants, earrings, wedding jewelry, men’s designs, and specialty pieces. Each commission is created by Roberto, with customers working directly with him throughout the design process. The business emphasizes handcrafted, individual work: designs are not computerized, and no apprentices are involved. Roberto was born and raised in Colombia and learned jewelry making after immigrating to Miami as a young man.
