Preservation Station is a marketplace, restaurant, and event venue housed in a 39,000-square-foot former schoolhouse in Owensboro, Kentucky. Open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., it brings shopping, Southern dining, and community gatherings together under one historic roof.
Visitors can explore more than 60 shops offering antiques, home décor, fashion, crafts, books, furniture, local art, specialty foods, and other distinctive finds. The venue also hosts seasonal Market Shows, with more than 100 vendors showcasing antiques, crafts, clothing, décor, and local products. Scheduled 2026 shows are March 21–22, September 19–20, and November 14–15.
The Preservation Station Family Restaurant serves home-style Southern favorites in a welcoming setting, with seating for 100 guests. Lunch is available Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a Sunday buffet runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beyond shopping and dining, the historic gym and other spaces are available for events, making Preservation Station a destination for visitors, local businesses, and community celebrations.
