Vita et Familia

Vita et Familia is a foundation based in Białystok, Poland, whose mission is to protect life from conception to natural death and support the family as a fundamental social unit. Through its “Family—where life begins” project, it offers practical and emotional support to parents, particularly during pregnancy and around childbirth. Its services include free childbirth preparation classes, available in person and online, and free psychological consultations for mothers during pregnancy and the perinatal period.

Participants in the classes can also attend in-person support-group meetings led by a psychologist and may borrow a breast pump at no cost. The foundation additionally provides a lactation clinic, parent workshops, and opportunities to share and read personal birth stories. Its website presents information about its activities, application forms, downloadable documents, and ways to support its work.

By combining education, counseling, peer support, and practical resources, Vita et Familia helps families prepare for birth and navigate early parenthood
