Vitalyst Health

Vitalyst Health Foundation works with partners across Arizona to advance community well-being and help people live healthier lives. Its approach broadens the understanding of health beyond healthcare, encouraging communities to consider the many elements that shape well-being and collaborate on equitable, comprehensive responses to local opportunities and challenges. Since 2016, Vitalyst has worked with statewide partners using its Elements of a Healthy Community framework, including engagement with tribal communities.

The organization supports community coalitions and developing nonprofits through grants, fiscal sponsorship, and operational and grant-specific technical assistance. Its funding opportunities focus on systems change that can catalyze community health. Vitalyst also works with partners to influence public policy and shares information about inclusive and just transformation of policies, systems, and environments. Resources include an interactive statewide health data dashboard with maps, infographics, and community stories, along with publications, a podcast, and updates on programs and events. Through its strategic roadmap, partnerships, and learning resources, Vitalyst connects people and organizations working toward healthier, more equitable communities throughout Arizona.
