Vitikkalan suku

Vitikkalan suku ry is a Finnish family association established on December 9, 1945, and is among the country’s oldest genealogical societies. It brings together the descendants of Kaarle Juhonpoika Vitikkala, a landed estate owner, and his wife, Eeva Kristiina Vikberg, a family with more than ten thousand descendants. Membership is open to their descendants and spouses, and the association encourages families to involve younger generations in preserving their shared heritage.

The association connects family members, honors their ancestors, and supports the study and documentation of family history. Its website features historical research, stories, information about family branches and ancestral estates, and records of past gatherings. Members can access a private online area to update their contact details and read notices. The association also organizes family meetings and other events, shares news and local heritage information, and offers publications and other items for sale. It maintains a closed Facebook group and invites members to support its work through a voluntary annual contribution.
