Vivien Chien is an author best known for the Noodle Shop Mysteries, a cozy mystery series centered on Lana Lee and the community of Asia Village in Cleveland. The books combine investigations, family and friendship, restaurant life, and Chinese American cultural settings. Lana’s cases range from a murder at a culinary school to a suspicious death linked to a speed-dating event, while recurring characters and the Ho-Lee Noodle House connect the stories.
Chien’s website showcases the series, with descriptions of its novels and shorter works, including Death by Dumpling, the first book, and Peking Duck and Cover, the tenth. It also features Gone to Hot Pot, an electronic-only short story, alongside later entries such as Misfortune Cookie, Hot and Sour Suspects, and Fatal Fried Rice. Readers can follow purchase links to retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, and Google Play. The site also offers information about Chien’s biography, blog, event calendar, and contact options, helping readers discover her books and stay connected with her author activities.
