About Viztaz
VíztaZ Museo is a vibrant cultural institution dedicated to the recovery, conservation, and dissemination of our cultural memory. With over 20 years of impactful projects, the museum is at the forefront of preserving and promoting the rich heritage of its region. Visitors can enjoy a variety of engaging programs including photography contests, exhibitions, workshops, and discussions tailored for both professional and amateur photographers.
Notable initiatives include "El Teatro Contado por los Teatreros," featuring a digital archive of theater performances by Oscar Botero, and "El Poncherazo," an interactive exhibition that brings historical customs to life. Additionally, the museum showcases the production techniques of ceramics in El Carmen de Viboral and provides a historical visual journey through Medellín's theater scene from 1970 to 1999.
