VK HRON

Vodácky klub Hron Kalná nad Hronom is a paddling club based at its boathouse in Kalná nad Hronom, on the lower reaches of the Hron River in Slovakia. The club brings together people interested in outdoor activities and offers a broad programme centered on water and nature. Its activities include family water tourism, rafting and a range of paddling competitions. Members also take part in walking, mountain and high-mountain hiking, making the club’s focus wider than river sports alone.

The club organizes events throughout the year and shares its activity calendar, news, photographs and club history online. Its programme includes the Hronský triatlon, for which it publishes event information and rules, as well as HRONfest and other club gatherings. Visitors can find details about membership, the club’s statutes and ways to support its work through tax donations. With its local base and varied outdoor programme, VK Hron offers opportunities for people to take part in recreational trips, sporting events and community activities connected with the Hron region.
