Vlastivědný kroužek Holešov is a voluntary association of enthusiasts dedicated to regional heritage and to understanding the history and present-day life of the Holešov area. Its members take an active interest in the region, the lives of local people and notable personalities, and the preservation of historical knowledge for future generations.
The association shares this heritage through a varied programme of events, including talks, guided tours, walks, excursions and visits to historic sites. Topics range from archaeology, architecture, gardens and religious heritage to local industry, transport, wartime history, folklore and the natural environment. Many activities explore Holešov and nearby communities, while others visit places across Moravia and beyond. The website presents upcoming and past events, with photo galleries documenting activities from 2022 onward.
Visitors can learn more about the group, review its statutes and find contact information. The site also links to local institutions and resources, including the town of Holešov, its cultural centre and library, and information about the town’s religious monuments.
