VK Nové Mesto

Volejbalový klub Nové Mesto nad Váhom is a civic association dedicated to organising recreational, competitive and elite volleyball in Nové Mesto nad Váhom and the surrounding area. The club serves players across a wide range of ages and experience levels, with boys’ and girls’ programmes from early-age introductory groups through youth categories, juniors and senior teams. Its squads compete in Slovak Volleyball Federation competitions, including the women’s Niké Extraliga and league competitions for men and youth teams.

Developing young talent and supporting long-term youth participation are central to the club’s work. Teams such as the junior, cadet and younger age groups take part in regular matches and tournaments, while the club also shares fixtures, results, team updates and match reports with its community. Home games are held at sports halls in Nové Mesto nad Váhom, and the organisation promotes the town’s volleyball heritage through its history, galleries and recognition of notable club figures. The club is based on Javorinská Street and welcomes interest from players, supporters and local partners.
