About Vleminckveld
Thuiszorg Vleminckveld vzw is an established, recognised provider of family care and supplementary home-care services in the Antwerp region. Founded in 1951, this small, independent organisation offers personal, warm and enthusiastic support to help people maintain or improve their quality of life at home. Its services include home care, domestic help, maternity care, night care, emergency assistance, practical household tasks and support for people experiencing homelessness.
The organisation also provides care-sector training, including programmes to become a care assistant or qualified care worker, as well as initiatives such as JATZ, which encourages young people to enter care, and KANZ, which supports pathways into the sector. Zorgateljee is another part of its range of initiatives. Thuiszorg Vleminckveld places both clients and employees at the centre of its work, guided by five values: openness, attentiveness, sincerity, connection and enthusiasm.
