VLG Maximiliansau

Volkslaufgruppe Maximiliansau e. V. (VLG) is a running club based in Maximiliansau, in the city of Wörth, Germany.

Founded in 1978 as Volkslaufgruppe Goldenes Lamm e. V. Maximiliansau, the club welcomes people who enjoy running, jogging or walking together.

Its community brings together ambitious runners working toward personal bests, recreational athletes building up their mileage, beginners, fitness runners and walkers. Members and visitors can join the VLG running group, which meets on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:30 p. m.

during the autumn season. The meeting point is the parking area opposite Wörth swimming pool on Mozartstraße. The club also organizes the Rhein-Volkslauf in Maximiliansau, with 5 km and 10 km distances, and shares information about regional races, club events and members’ race reports.

A gymnastics group is also listed among its activities. Newcomers are invited to try a group session, and those wishing to participate more regularly can become members. VLG provides a welcoming setting for exercise, shared goals and social running at a range of ability levels
