VMap

巴視達 (VMap) is a cutting-edge online application service that provides an innovative visualization of public transportation in Taiwan. Utilizing GIS technology, it offers real-time GPS tracking of buses, vehicle route information, and live CCTV imagery. The platform is designed as a web application that employs responsive web design (RWD) and progressive web app (PWA) capabilities, allowing users to access it seamlessly across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers, without the need for installation.

What sets 巴視達 apart is its graphical interface, focusing on imagery over text, enabling users to interactively track bus positions on a map. This feature mitigates the frustration of inaccurate estimated arrival times prevalent in many text-based apps, thus significantly reducing waiting times and anxiety among passengers. The brand has recently expanded its offerings with new functionalities, such as real-time tracking capabilities, enhanced search features for bus license plates, and a roadside view, making it an indispensable tool for anyone relying on Taiwan's public transportation system.
