VoB is a municipal care and treatment provider focused on supporting children, young people, adults and families through challenging periods. Its guiding principle is to put care before profit, and its services are delivered in close collaboration with social services to help create safer, more stable everyday lives. The organization supports around 300 adults and children each year through residential care and assessment homes, protected accommodation, supported housing, emergency placements and foster care.
For children and young people, VoB offers residential treatment and assessment, as well as individually tailored support in supported housing. Its family services include residential treatment and assessment for families, consultant-supported foster and emergency homes, and guidance for external foster families. VoB also provides child welfare assessment consultancy and outpatient services, including treatment, conversations and advice, as well as BBIC coordination in Kronoberg County.
In Kronoberg, couples and families can access family counselling focused on relationships and interaction. VoB also offers training, lectures and conferences for social care professionals, sharing knowledge and strengthening practice across the sector.
