VOC Diagnostics is an innovative cancer diagnostics company specializing in the detection of ovarian cancer as its primary focus. Founded in 2017 by Professor György Horvath, the company is built upon a breakthrough technology developed at Gothenburg University. Our patented VOC technology utilizes a unique analysis method, delivering exceptional results with a sensitivity of 92% and specificity of 93%, surpassing the capabilities of other available methods.

While our current focus is on ovarian cancer, our research suggests that our innovative technology has promising potential for the diagnosis and screening of other cancers, such as breast, lung, and prostate cancer. This potential is based on scientific publications demonstrating that the organic substances present in ovarian cancer are also found in patients with these other cancer types. Our journey began in 2017 when Professor Horvath's work using dogs to detect ovarian cancer inspired the concept of building an electronic nose for clinical use.

Since then, we have made significant progress, including receiving Swedish and international patents in the same year. In 2018, we published our first study with the VOC prototype, showcasing the technology's promising science with impressive results. To support our growth and product development, we have received investments from Almi Invest, STOAF III, and GU Ventures.

In 2020, we welcomed Linda Spahiu as CEO and continue to conduct clinical feasibility studies and plan for further research.
