About Vodostaja
Vodostaj. rs is a regional platform for monitoring river conditions and supporting anglers and water users across eight European countries: Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Germany, Hungary, and Austria. It brings together data from more than 3,000 measuring stations, sourced from official national hydrological services and updated every 30 minutes.
Users can check current water levels, trends, station histories, and forecasts where available, alongside measurements such as water temperature, flow, air temperature, pressure, and moon phase. The platform also offers alerts when water levels reach user-defined thresholds, with options for push or email notifications. For fishing, Vodostaj.
rs provides information on seasonal fishing restrictions, minimum catch sizes, permits, regulations, fishing zones, and gamekeeper contacts across the region. Additional features include a fishing log for recording catches and trip conditions, a database of competitions, and a marketplace where users can buy or sell fishing equipment without a transaction commission. The service is available in six languages and can be installed as an app for offline use
