Voersaa Kajak Klub

Voersaa Kajakklub is a community kayaking club founded in 2017 to help people enjoy the water and create memorable experiences in nature. Initially based outdoors at the outer harbour, the club stored its kayaks and equipment in a rented container and began with members’ own gear and several kayaks loaned by a local resident. Today, the club offers beginner courses for young people aged 15–20 and adults aged 20 and over, with course and membership options for different age groups and circumstances.

Beginners can learn the skills needed to paddle independently; until they are cleared to paddle alone, they must be accompanied by a cleared member. Members can use the club’s facilities throughout the year, access its equipment and take part in club activities. Membership also provides a way to join a welcoming kayaking community.

Voersaa Kajakklub invites newcomers to attend an information evening about its beginner course and shares updates, course details and event information through its website and Facebook group
