About Vogel
Vogel Ski Center, operated by Žičnice Vogel Bohinj d.o.o., is a mountain resort above the Bohinj Valley in Slovenia’s Triglav National Park. Visitors can reach its upper station, more than 1,500 metres above sea level, by gondola, with access to the lower station on foot, by public transport, tourist boat or car. A free car park is available near the lower station.
In winter, Vogel offers skiing on natural snow, with favourable conditions sometimes extending the season from November to May. Its lifts include the Orlove glave chairlift and the Zadnji Vogel panoramic cable car. Across the year, visitors can enjoy scenic rides, high-mountain hiking, an archaeological trail, disc golf, a bike park and paragliding. The resort also features restaurants, mountain huts, refreshment stops, a bar, shops, a visitor information point and a souvenir shop. Accommodation options are listed among its visitor services.
