Voglarn

Bergschützen Voglarn is a family-friendly shooting club in the Rottal region of Bavaria, offering sporting activities, youth training and a welcoming place for members to meet. At its electronic range, equipped with ten Meyton measuring frames, members practise with air rifles and, occasionally, air pistols. Young people can begin air-rifle training from age 12, or from age 10 with special permission, under the guidance of qualified trainers. The club provides shared equipment, including two laser rifles for younger participants. Youth activities extend beyond sport, with outings and events such as cinema visits, scavenger hunts, bowling and walks.

Training and the club evening take place on Fridays, with additional sessions usually scheduled on Tuesdays. Visitors are welcome to come along, observe and try the activities before deciding whether to join. The club also runs its own clubhouse restaurant, supported by nearly 30 volunteers. Open on Friday evenings and by arrangement, it serves freshly prepared daily dishes at moderate prices. Children are welcome, and a dedicated room offers space to play.
