The American Heart Association's Voices for Healthy Kids strives to make every day healthier for every child in every community. They believe that all children should have access to affordable healthy foods and beverages, safe places to play and get active, and more. With a focus on addressing stark inequities, Voices for Healthy Kids works around the country to improve or create equitable policies that make the places kids live, learn, and play healthier.

Through advocacy campaigns, community mobilization, and partnerships, they support efforts to advance science and research, create visibility for children's health issues, and drive positive change. Their priorities include active and equitable communities, early childhood health equity, healthy and accessible food and drinks, healthy and equitable schools, paid family and medical leave, and preemption efforts.
