Vol.A, formally known as Associazione Volontari Ambulanza ONLUS, is a volunteer ambulance association based in Santa Giustina, in the province of Belluno, Italy. It is registered in the Veneto Regional Register of Volunteer Organizations under classification BL 265 and was authorized by the Veneto Region in November 2009 to provide healthcare transport and ambulance services.
The association’s main purpose is to provide first aid, assistance, and transport for people who are not self-sufficient but whose condition is stable, without vital-sign impairment. It also arranges private transfers between a person’s home and the relevant hospital for specialist consultations. For sporting and recreational events attracting small to large crowds, Vol.A. provides assistance and prepares a healthcare support plan, which it submits in advance to the 118 operations center in Pieve di Cadore.
Vol.A. invites community members to volunteer and supports its work through donations, including Italy’s 5x1000 tax allocation. The association is located at Via Zona Industriale 2, Santa Giustina, and provides information and service requests by phone or email.
