Voldaan

Voldaan is a private-chef service serving Nijmegen and the surrounding area, led by chef Daan. Rather than operating from a fixed restaurant, Daan brings a restaurant-style dining experience to clients’ homes, cooking and serving in their own kitchens. Diners are arranged by appointment, seven days a week, with availability discussed directly.

Each booking begins with a conversation about the occasion, guest count, date and preferences. Voldaan then creates a personal menu using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with wines selected to complement the meal. The service can suit intimate dinners for two, gatherings with friends, celebrations and other hosted occasions. Allergies and dietary requirements are accommodated, with unsuitable ingredients thoughtfully replaced.

Voldaan emphasizes hospitality, honest cooking, distinctive flavors, careful presentation and attentive service, allowing hosts to relax while guests enjoy an evening at home. Menus featured on the website include brioche with Parmesan foam and truffle, quail, rendang and salmon prepared in several ways.
