Volterion’s latest stack generation is manufactured through an automated series production process in Germany, in partnership with the Boysen Group. Drawing on Boysen’s experience in automotive series production, manufacturing follows defined quality assurance and testing procedures, from incoming goods inspection and in-process monitoring to final testing. The company says this industrial-scale production supports consistent quality, dependable supply, and shorter lead times.

Volterion’s technology is intended to support flow battery energy storage projects ranging from pilot installations to large, multi-megawatt applications. By combining its stack technology with established manufacturing processes and customer-focused technical guidance, Volterion aims to facilitate the transition to advanced energy storage and contribute to the wider energy transition.
