Volt Nederland

Volt Nederland is the Dutch branch of Volt, a pan-European political party and movement with more than 23,000 members across 31 countries. Its guiding approach is to think on a European scale while taking action locally, bringing together communities and political work in the Netherlands and across Europe. The party campaigns for a greener environment, equal rights, a secure foundation for everyone, an innovative economy, a safer Europe and stronger democracy.

Its priorities include climate neutrality, resilience to climate impacts, accessible care and education, fair opportunities, digital security and investment in Europe’s future. Volt Nederland shares its positions and proposals through news, policy materials and elected representatives at municipal, provincial, national and European levels. It also organises meetings, demonstrations, conferences and community activities, and provides opportunities for people to join, volunteer and take part in political initiatives.

Members help shape the movement and support its work, alongside donations. Through local chapters, events and collaboration with Volt organisations in other countries, Volt Nederland aims to advance practical ideas for a shared future
