About Voluntarius
Voluntarius LT is a national voluntary rescue service based in Lithuania. Their main goal is to provide essential equipment and assistance to trained volunteers in order to save lives during emergencies. Since its establishment, Voluntarius LT has been raising awareness about the vital role of professional volunteering in community safety, communication, and trust.
In 2018, they received funding for their project "PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERING PROMOTION IN KAUNAS REGION" and began its implementation. They invite residents of Kaišiadoriai, Prienai, Jonava, Kaunas districts, and Kaunas city municipalities to participate in this project along with their partner organizations. Voluntarius LT also engages in various activities, such as organizing meetings and discussions with professionals like kinesitherapists.
They actively participate in events like the Lithuanian School First Aid Championship, where their volunteers showcase their skills. Voluntarius LT welcomes support and encourages people to join them as volunteers
