Volunteer Welding Supply is a reputable and family-owned welding supply company based in Nashville, TN. Established in October 1973 by Harold and Evelyn McMurtry, this brand has stood the test of time and continues to thrive. Initially focusing on welding supply, they expanded their services to include medical gas provisions, becoming a trusted leader in Middle Tennessee's healthcare sector.
With their dedication to meeting local hospitals' needs, Volunteer Welding Supply quickly grew and established their Bulk Division in 1975. They were also pioneers in offering bulk beverage CO2 for the hospitality industry in the state, which now serves over 500 customers in middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. To serve their growing customer base, Volunteer Welding opened a branch in Tullahoma in 1988, experiencing the same remarkable success as their Nashville location.
In 1990, they formed a successful partnership with A-Welders & Medical Gases in Knoxville, TN, further strengthening their industry presence. Throughout their journey, Volunteer Welding has never lost sight of their core values. Providing outstanding service, finding optimal solutions, and prioritizing customer satisfaction remain their top priorities.
This commitment was instilled by Harold and Evelyn, and it continues to guide and inspire the next generation of McMurty family members and employees. Experience the excellence of Volunteer Welding Supply, where quality and service are a family legacy
