About von der Lippe
Jacob von der Lippe is one of Norway's most prominent and respected violin makers, building instruments for musicians both domestically and internationally since 1998. With 23 years of experience, Jacob's instruments are rooted in the craftsmanship traditions of the Italian masters. He received his education from the Istituto Professionale Internazionale per l'Artigianato Liutario e del Legno, A.
Stradivari in Cremona, Italy. Jacob's instruments have a focus on warmth, projection, and richness of overtones. As the only Norwegian member of the worldwide organization Entente Internationale des Luthiers et Archetiers, Jacob has developed his own model for violins, violas, and cellos, combining the best qualities of the instruments he has built.
