Von Stiehl Winery is a historic and iconic brand located in Algoma, Wisconsin. Founded in 1967 by Dr. Charles Stiehl, it holds the prestigious title of being the oldest licensed winery in the state.

Dr. Stiehl's vision was to create a winery that would showcase the unique flavors of Door County cherries, which led to the creation of their signature wines, Sweet Cherry, and Dry Cherry wines. While staying true to their heritage, Von Stiehl Winery has expanded their offerings over the years.

In 2016, they introduced their first hard cider, Hard Apple Cider, made with Kewaunee County Apples. Today, their hard cider selection includes a variety of flavors such as Door County Cherry, Guava Hopped Session, Tequila Barrel Apple, Bourbon Barrel Apple, and seasonal ciders. To enhance the experience for their customers, Von Stiehl Winery opened an outdoor cider bar in 2020, where visitors can relax and enjoy their favorite hard ciders, wines, and wine slushies while taking in the stunning views of the Ahnapee River.
