Voor U

Voor U is a Flemish political party founded in 2023, advocating greater freedom, simplicity and transparency in public life. The party calls for a leaner, fairer government focused on its core responsibilities and for more power to be returned to citizens. Its principles include direct democracy, accountable leadership and respect for individual freedom, including the freedom to speak, choose and live as one wishes.

In Belgium’s 2024 elections, Voor U received 45,196 votes, becoming the eighth-largest party in Flanders, according to its website. The movement is preparing for the next elections in 2029 and invites supporters to help shape its policies, join candidate lists, gather signatures and contribute financially. Voor U also offers ways to stay involved through membership, a newsletter and its party magazine, Ongezouten, which publishes press releases, opinion pieces and political commentary.
