Voříškov

Voříškov is an animal shelter in Zbuzany near Prague, providing care and a fresh start for abandoned and mistreated animals. The shelter is especially committed to dogs with behavioral challenges or needs that other facilities may find difficult to manage. Its team works to improve dogs’ habits and address their pain, while also caring for cats, farm animals, rabbits, and other small rodents.

Voříškov helps animals find homes through adoption and offers information on the adoption process, virtual adoption, temporary care, and ways to support animals from a distance. Its services include a dog hotel and socialization or group walks. The organization also shares adoption listings and operates a charity e-shop featuring products, including Tamer items and Kamínkománie. Visitors can help through donations, volunteering, walking dogs, or providing practical and material assistance.

Voříškov participates in charitable events and holds an annual Vořech fest, with proceeds supporting the animals in its care. The shelter is also raising funds to acquire nearby land for dog exercise and to expand its capacity.
