Vorster Tuiste is a dedicated genealogy project that has been active for nearly three decades, focusing on the rich heritage of the Vorster family. Established in the mid-1990s during the early days of the internet, this initiative has successfully connected numerous contributors who have generously shared their knowledge and resources. The website serves as a central hub for genealogical research, offering valuable documents, gravestones, and media related to the Vorster lineage.

Key figures in this collaborative effort, such as Bingle Brits and John, have significantly enhanced the collection of family history, assisting in the formation of a comprehensive book. Additionally, contributions from Paul and Roelf, who meticulously organized data into a structured GEDCOM file, have bolstered the project’s framework. Vorster Tuiste remains a vital resource for those interested in exploring their ancestry and connecting with the Vorster family’s past. Enthusiasts can also discover curated photo albums housed at the Middelburg Museum in the Eastern Cape, inviting further exploration of this rich family heritage.
