Votap is a digital platform designed to make political engagement simple, visible, and ongoing. Inspired by financial markets, it lets users vote on politicians around the clock and follow real-time charts that show how public opinion is shifting. The service also features political leaderboards, where users can see which leaders are trending, and offers a way to build a personal portfolio of votes. Users can also vote on news articles, bringing current events into the platform’s public-opinion experience.

Votap presents itself as a tool for both individual participation and wider comparison: people can cast votes on political leaders and see how others are voting. Its stated aim is to help users influence charts that politicians watch, turning opinions into a visible measure of public sentiment. The platform is available to download and describes its service as free, fast, and focused on impact. Through its website, Votap also provides information about its story and team, contact details, FAQs, privacy policy, and terms of service.
