The service also offers interest-based chat and supports communication in Russian or English. Alongside text conversations, Votod.net describes a photo chat feature for sending and receiving images while remaining anonymous.

The platform is available on computers and mobile devices, and the site states that it is free to use. Getting started involves selecting “Start chatting” and confirming that the user is at least 18 years old. Cookies are used to store settings and support security; the site says that user data is not used to require personal details. Votod.net presents itself as a straightforward way to meet people online, with links to its rules, privacy policy, child protection information, and frequently asked questions.
