The Venerable Third Order of St. Dominic (VOTSD) is a nonprofit social welfare institution in Guimarães, Portugal, focused primarily on supporting older people, especially those experiencing social or economic disadvantage. Founded in 1720, the institution has a long history of care and community service. Its extensive building, located in the city centre, has been renovated to improve residents’ comfort and includes an attached chapel, garden and private parking.

VOTSD operates a residential home offering permanent or temporary accommodation, meals, personalized hygiene and comfort care, and primary medical and nursing services. Residents can also access psychological and social support, laundry, transport and accompaniment for appointments, physiotherapy, and professional hairdressing and barber services.
