Vovinam Finland

Vovinam Finland is a martial arts club introducing people in Finland to Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo, a Vietnamese martial art practiced with and without weapons. The club invites newcomers to try a free class and offers training in the Uusimaa region. Vovinam combines physical and mental development, balancing hard and soft techniques and teaching practitioners to use force and respond to an opponent.

Its training covers both attack and defense, including punches, elbow strikes, kicks, escapes, leverage techniques, forms, combat, and traditional wrestling. Depending on the discipline, practice may also involve weapons such as swords, staffs, axes, and folding fans. Alongside martial arts skills, Vovinam Finland emphasizes respect, self-discipline, focus, confidence, safety, and leadership.

The club is led by founder and lead instructor Tracy (Thao Tran). Visitors can contact the club by phone or email to learn more about classes and practice opportunities. Vovinam Finland also provides a subscription option for updates, helping interested students stay informed about the club
