Vox Camerata is a non-profit registered society that advocates for the practice of choral music making in Singapore. With the aim of being a center of advocacy, discovery, learning, and practice for choral music in the country, Vox Camerata serves as a bridge between local, regional, and international communities. Since its establishment in 2004, the organization has held onto two fundamental values – providing a place for anyone, regardless of their background or ability, to sing in the choir, and striving to create exceptional music.

These values are interwoven through their practice of teaching, mentoring, and nurturing as a community. Over the years, Vox Camerata has also built lasting friendships with other choirs and professional musicians, supporting and incubating new choirs to boost their visibility. Recognizing the lack of capacity for advocacy and research in the choral music scene, Vox Camerata has undertaken various projects and initiatives to strengthen research, build capabilities of practitioners, and garner sector-wide support for freelance choral music professionals.
