VRBay is a community-driven directory for discovering and downloading content for VRChat. Its searchable catalog includes more than 11,000 free downloads across categories such as avatars, 3D models, worlds, scripts, prefabs, textures, animations, shaders, materials, particles, and skyboxes. Visitors can browse featured, newest, and trending uploads, explore categories, and use search to find specific content.

The site says downloads are free, with no paywalls or premium tiers, and that browsing or downloading does not require an account; a quick verification is required to obtain files. VRBay describes a safety process in which uploads are scanned for suspicious code and manually reviewed by moderators before publication. Community features include voting, comments, collections, and content submissions.

Creators can submit work they own or have permission to share, subject to moderation. Downloads are delivered through a third-party hosting partner, which VRBay says provides direct access without advertising or delay pages. The directory also offers a bounty board, community information, and resources such as an API, security details, FAQs, and policies
